Description: Gifted with much artistic talent, Teru will remove his special scroll and ink drawings of up to twelve snakes on its surface. Forming the needed hand seal they can then give life to the art, allowing it to spring off the page and obey her will. These snakes slither extremely quickly and can burrow underground to surprise the target from below. Once attached, a snake will constrict the target and severely restrict their movement. They can also bite mildly and choke the target. Enough snakes can hold the target entirely, depending on their physical strength. However, one or two strikes will cause a snake to revert to its natural ink state.

Description: Sumi Kawarimi is a Ninjutsu technique used by Teru Mikami. This technique enables Teru to freely transform his body into ink. When physically struck, the attacked body part will disappear beneath the blow and then be instantly replenished by ink. This form allows him to avoid taking direct damage from many physical attacks. However, she cannot use jutsu while ‘reforming’ and can only use this jutsu twice in a topic.

Description: This clone, made from a small amount of ink, carrying chakra, is different from the ordinary Clone Technique in that it has actual substance and mass, making it difficult to see through. It would seem that Teru and his clones have the ability to stay in contact with each other, as his clone knew exactly where to find the original. If Teru is rendered unconscious, his ink clones are dispersed.

Description: By pouring some of his special ink into the ground, Teru can summon several ink snakes to strike from underground and restrain his opponents. Should the opponent prove strong enough to break the binds, the snakes can reform around the target, making struggling pointless.

Description: The user wraps their body in chakra-infused ink to hide themselves creating an effective smokescreen. When used in combination with the Body Flicker Technique, the user can quickly leave the battlefield without being noticed.
History: The exact date of the formation of the Mikami clan was never recorded, and cannot be accurately determined. However, it is known that between sixty to a hundred years ago, a small family travelled to what is now known as the Fire Country. They made their living working as a part of a performing troupe of entertainers, the family themselves using artistic and creative talents to captivate the audiences, brining paintings and origami to life. After performing to the people of Konohagakure no Sato, they were taken with the country and its people. The family, whose surname was Mikami, chose to settle there.
It was not hard for them to settle in a village so lacking in creativity. They set up businesses that provided sculptures, drawings, books, poems, flora and gardens for the villagers. Some even took to designing the inside of the houses and apartments of Konohagakure. Amongst the hard shinobi of the village, however, the Mikami took longer to find a place. Fiercer fighters and more bloodthirsty shinobi overshadowed them, and many ended up dead in their attempts to gain skill and rank amongst the ninja. In the last decade or so, there have been a number of ninja talented enough to hold their own within the village, leading to a rise in the fame of the Mikami clan.
Over the years, their descendants have continued the family name, extending the family with the local villagers. Continuing their tradition of creative, artistic expertise, the clan members are all skilled in certain creative arts, and their shinobi are trained in what they call “Sumiton [Ink Release]” techniques. These involve various forms of art and using ink in battle. Though the Mikami clan has existed for many decades, it is only once in a blue moon you meet one because they have become erased for the most part.
