Naruto Kyuusai takes place after the Fourth Great Shinobi War where a perfected Edo Tensei was used to bring back all the shinobi who had died during period that Naruto became a shinobi to the end of the Shinobi World War. For nearly three years there has been peace but the Akatsuki are back with a new leader and a whole new roster of members along with some familiar faces, as the others are living their lives as they wanted to.
