Special Characteristics: Chak Toe Recki is a Doujutsu that allows its wielder to communicate with the spirits of the deceased. it allows them to see the spirits and talk with them, this is useful for gather information the spirit might have such as, forbidden jutsus, or unique fighting styles, or even asking the location of a hidden location they may have visited during there life.

Description:

While Meditating users of Spirit Release may project an image of themselves to locations they know of through the Spirit realm, (a dimension where time and distance are distorted)No Secret locations, or areas unknown to the user. The image may talk and communicate with those at said location but is powerless to intervene in anyway. can not preform ninjutsu or do any physical task, as they are not really there. The may see, speak and hear only.

Genin may Project themselves as far as 10 Miles
Chuunin may Project themselves the length of a territory, (land of fire for instance)
Jounin may Project themselves up to two territories over
Kage level may project themselves anywhere that is known to them.

The users body is venerable during the use of this ability. the larger the distance projected to the longer it will take to return. Therefore this ability is recommended to be used in a secure location.


Spirit is the opposite of Chakra. The two coexist but few are able to utilize the power of Spirit energy over the much more commonly used Chakra. One can not existence without the other but using one weakens the other within the users body as they are opposites in nature.

The Higashi Samurai are the only known users of this rare release. Though Samurai in general can tap in to there spirit energy much more easily then Shinobi can, having traditionally used different forms of charka releases then the Shinobi.

Those who use Spirit release suffer from a weakened chakra system, as its flooded with Spirit energy primarily and not Chakra. Due to this the Samurai using Spirit release is restricted to only ONE element, the element must be one of the 5 basic or an advanced form of the 5 basic. Therefore only
Doton, advanced would be Metal
Raiton, advanced being Magnetism
Katon, advanced being Combustion
Suiton, advanced being Ice
Fuuton, advanced being Sound

The user may NEVER gain another Elemental effenity no matter there rank.


Jutsu:

Name: Spirit Armor
Rank: B-A
Type: Supplementary
Description: The Armor appears as a Semi-solid ghost like Samurai armor completely surrounding the user. The armor is Semi-transparent appearing like a cloud around the user. This jutsu has two stages

Half Release (B-rank)- In this stage the armor provides increased defense against Ninjutsu of any kind, but provides no additional defense against physical objects or attacks. The amount of additional defense gives, Moderate protection against C-B rank jutsu, and only sightly dampens A-S rank jutsu.

Max Duration 5 posts with a 2 post cool down

Full Release-(A-rank) To obtain the full release version of this jutsu you must first have the character trait of Swordsman's Spirit (See my character app) the swordsman's spirit trait must be active as well as the Half Released form of Spirit armor. they will then meld together. Giving the Spirit armor the same tint of the Samurai's Aura. The additional defensive benefits of this more powerful release is: Nearly canceling C-B rank jutsu and giving Moderate defense against A-S rank elemental jutsu.

Description: By wrapping ones spirit energy around there weapon of choice. one can cut through an opponents Ninjutsu, C-B rank jutsu while in Half released form (A-rank), and up to A-rank while in Full released form.(S-rank)

Name: Breaking Bonds
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Description: By flooding the body with spirit energy and expelling it from all there Tenketu points, the user can create a great outward pressure capable of breaking virtually any capture jutsu or items binding the user. This justu breaks physical restraints, such as a doton imprisonment. its a release of a large amount of the users energy. (A-rank or lower) (Dont work on Genjutsu)


History: The Lieage of the Higashi clan starts several generations ago, with its founding member Koraba Higashi. He was the first to realize the existence of Spirit energy. Through years of training and experimentation Koraba was eventually able to unlock Spirit releases true potential Astral Projection. This put the Higashi clan on good terms with the shogun at the time. the shogun saw the potential of the ability and promoted Koraba making him part of the shogun's top advisers and giving him the title of warlord. Sience then the Higashi clan has played an important role in the Land of Irons defensive capabilities.

Members: This clan can have a max of 4 members.
