Description: The user creates a dome of electricity for about 5 metres around him. He can sense any movement within this dome. This way he cannot be caught off guard. Fun fact: Rainen often uses this when he is listening to metal, because the music prevents him from hearing the enemy.

Description: The user creates a small layer of electricity around his body. If he makes direct contact with the enemy (or his weapon if its made of metal) the enemy will receive a shock and the body part that he attacked with will be paralyzed for a short amount of time, giving the user an opening. This slowly drains his chakra. If the enemy attacks with a metal weapon the arm with which the enemy held the weapon will be paralyzed.

Description: This jutsu creates an electrical mass with the shape of a lion(about the size of an elephant) underneath the user, the user itself cannot be harmed by the electrity and will ride the jutsu. The lion then charges forward at high speed, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Takes a considerable amount of chakra.

Description: Raiton Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes lightning to create a Kage Bunshin clone. Because it is a Kage Bunshin, the Raiton version shares the ability to interact with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. If the Raiton Kage Bunshin is injured, the clone will revert into its natural lightning state. Like in other Lightning Element attacks, should the target come into contact with the electricity, they will be momentarily stunned.

Description: This technique channels a large amount of lightning chakra to the user's hand. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the Chidori into the target. This produces heavy amounts of damage that is usually fatal. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite the loud noise it produces.

Name: Chidori Eisō (Chidori Sharp Spear)

Description: The original Chidori gained its power by shaping it into a form sufficient for an electrical discharge and using it together with the user's own "thrust". This technique uses Shape Transformation to form the original Chidori into a spear-shape, adapting it for mid-range attacks with a maximum range of 10 meters. Although it's less powerful than the Chidori, its increased range means there is less of a risk to the user. It also has the advantage of being able to be used for surprise attacks and capturing. When the enemy's body is pierced the user can alter the spear's shape into multiple additional blades increasing the number of wounds. The blade can also be swung in order to cut things as well as cause fatal injuries.

Description: This is one of many variations of the Chidori that uses shape transformation. It is specialized in more speed, by being transformed into countless sharp senbon, all aimed at the enemy. By increasing the amount of chakra used, the number of senbon also increases.

Description: This is a ninjutsu developed by Sasuke Uchiha during his training with Orochimaru. By releasing the Chidori in every direction, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him to affect multiple enemies. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defense. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the Lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves," making its muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives damage. This will also neutralize other lightning jutsu so long as they are not more powerful. This attack can also be channeled through the ground to increase the range of the attack.

Description: This jutsu might be a bit hard to understand if you haven’t read about his shuriken yet, so I suggest you do that before reading on about his jutsu. By clapping his hands, Rainen can detonate the chakra stored in his Shuriken, creating an explosion at the shurikens location. This attack has a nice surprise effect to it.

Name: Shiroi Tama (White Orb)

Description: A defensive jutsu. Using the Noboyama seals, the user will become surrounded by a white energy orb which will block all incoming attacks B-rank or lower. After using the orb as a shield, the user can also launch the orb at the enemy as a projectile. If it hits the enemy, it will knock him backwards with a lot of force, not killing him but probably breaking a few ribs. (The user has to deactivate the shield the same post as he activated it.)

Name: Seiriyoku Tobidougu (Energy Missle)

Description: The user creates a ball of chakra in his hand, much like the beginning of Rasengan (this is not a version of Rasengan) but he uses the seals on his palms to destabilize the chakra, turning it into a white ball. He then shoots the ball by making a push motion with his hands. The ball creates a small explosion an impact. A very straightforward attack, but it is fast and hard to dodge, and does quite a bit of damage when it hits.

Description: The user creates a ball of chakra in his hand, much like the beginning of Rasengan (this is not a version of Rasengan) but he uses the seals on his palms to destabilize the chakra, turning it into a white ball. He then shoots the ball by making a push motion with his hands, but a few seconds after the user shoots the ball, it expodes in a rain of tiny energy drops. The drops can burn right through skin and most armor.


Name: Jiyuurikyoku Bakuran (Gravity Bomb)

Description: This Jutsu places a stationairy blue pulsing ball at the users location. This ball will attract the natural chakra in the environment( hence the Gravity part) and store it. When it is full, it will become unstable and explode. The reason why its rank varies is because the user. can create bombs of different size. Theres bombs about the size of a tennisbal (D-rank) which take a few seconds to become unstable, but only create a small explosion of maybe a few metres. But he can also create A-ranked, Skippyball sized bombs which take an hour, but can whipe out a small village. The bombs can be disarmed by a chuunin or higher by channeling his chakra into the bomb, which will push the natural chakra out of the bomb. (Added 1 to D, C, B, and A jutsu in the list since the jutsu can be of any of these ranks.)


Name: Kami no Te Chakra Suikumo (Gods Hand Chakra Absorb)

Description: The user catches a chakra based jutsu with the palm of his hand. He will then absorb the jutsu, replenishing his own chakra. The creator,Noboyama Aruki, was able to use this ability without limit, but the very precise process of focusing chakra to your hand, then quickly withdrawing it as the foreign chakra enters your hand and the rest of your body is very straining on the hand. Because of this, anyone else using this will only be able to use it a couple of times. After that, the hand will start to hurt so much that the user will not be able to use the hand for a while.(Rainens limit is 3, he can use it a fourth time but he won't be able to use his hand for the rest of the thread.)

Name: Seiriyoku no Dou (Body of Pure Energy)

Description: Rainens most powerful jutsu. He opens his shirt to reveal the seals on his chest. He places one of his palms in the circle in the middle of his chest seal. This turns his body into pure energy. In this form he looks like a bright white humanoid figure. (a bit like Anti Spiral from Tengen Toppa Guren Lagann, but white)In this form his speed and strength get a boost, and his jutsu become stronger. It also provides him with some new energy-based attacks. This form also makes him immune to genjutsu, as those jutsu manipulate the chakra in your 5 sences, but there is no chakra to manipulate. He can turn back into normal anytime he likes, but it will happen automaticly after attacking too much.. This jutsu will exhaust him, so it’s only for last resort. He can also rapidly go back into normal and hold the pure energy in front of him as a shield, which blocks any kind of attack. But because of the quick, forced cancelling of the jutsu, this will exhaust him even more, leaving him bedridden for a few days.

Name: Kentan no Kami(God of Gluttony)

Description: One of the most powerful jutsu that utilizes the Noboyama Seals. This justu summons a sacred statue that has been in the clans possesion for generations. With this jutsu, the user summons a huge Stone head from the ground, the head is about the same size as the Outer Path Pain uses to ressurect his fallen Paths. The Noboyama clan’s seal is on its forehead. The head will open its mouth and inhale, creating a vacuum that will drain the chakra of anyone unfortunate enough to stand in a cone within 15 meters in front of the face, as well as any jutsu that is fired at the face. It will then destabilize the absorbed chakra and fire a concentrated white beam of pure energy that moves towards the opponent with insane speed. If the target does not move out of the vacuum quickly he or she will likely die of chakra depletion. (Yes the target does have time to move out and if he or she manages to avoid the vacuum altogether no chakra will be drained) This jutsu can only be used twice per thread. If no chakra has been drained the user can always use his own chakra to create the beam, although a considerable ammount of chakra will be used to create a beam of equal power.

Rainen was born as the second son of Noboyama Choban, the chief of the Noboyama clan. This clan was one of the earth country's most respected clans, each of the clan's shinobi were geniuses. Rainen, however, stood out becouse of his total lack of talent and his clumsiness. He was always dead last at school and his father, who was very concerned with defending the clans pride, was very ashamed of him. Rainen's older brother, Sorawashi, was a genius even for the Noboyama clan's standards so much that the Tsuchikage himself even admitted he had the potential to become the new Tsuchikage in the future.

Choban always praised Sorawashi, telling him how proud he was, while paying almost no attention to Rainen. The only times he would talk to Rainen was to tell him how weak and hopeless he was.

On an unfortunate night, however, the Noboyama Village was under attack by a big band of rogue ninja's hired by another Earth Country clan, who were jealous of the Noboyama clan's position. During the battle, Rainen got knocked out almost immediatly, only to wake up a few hours later, with his fellow clansmen killed and his village destroyed. He then found his father, leaning against a wall, heavily wounded and near death. With his last breath, Choban blamed Rainen for being too weak to defend his village, and commented on how Sorawashi should have survived instead. Rainen exploded in anger, kicking his father’s corpse and screaming. When his rage had passed, Rainen swore to his father that he would prove him wrong. To this end he snuck into the village's temple and stole a bunch of secret, forbidden scrolls that only the highest ranking members were allowed to read.

Rainen then travaled to the Hidden Stone Village to train under a jonin and prove his father wrong. After a few years, when he was 16, Rainen became a jonin . But it was not enough, he wanted to be equal to his brother. So he asked the Tsuchikage about becoming the next Tsuchikage, but the Tsuchikage told Rainen that he was still too weak, and that he was inferior to his brother because he could only master 1 element type: Lightning.

Rainen became angered, and obsessed with gaining a unique fighting style. So he started researching the scrolls he stole to see if they would be of any help. The scrolls contained information about strange seals that could destabilize, absorb, or convert chakra. But to test the seals, he needed a source of chakra. So he started capturing his own village's shinobi to use them as test subjects. But just as he was satisfied with the results and carved the seals onto his own body, Rainen was caught by the Tsuchikage. The two battled, and Rainen managed to injure the Tsuchikage. When he asked again if he was strong enough to become Tsuchikage, the Tsuchikage replied that with his artificial strenght he was still not as good as Sorawashi, whose strenght came natural.
This infuriated Rainen, and he was about to attack the Tsuchikage again, when suddenly an army of ANBU came to the kage's aid. Rainen fled the village, bitter and angry.
18 years now, Rainen started wandering the land, causing terror in the Shinobi World.. He would prey on small villages to test his jutsu on innocent people, and he would often get into fights against seemlingly unfair odds just to prove his power. One person claimed to have seen Rainen destroy an entire village, and after that lifting his head to the heavens while screaming “Did you see that, Dad? Could Sorawashi do THAT? Huh?”

Rainens only goal has to become as powerful as his clans founder, and finally surpass his brother.

The Sand team entered the small hut, hoping to find the wherabouts of the thief who stole the secret scrolls. They looked around (the house's interior was simple, with a wooden table, a wooden chair, a small sink and a bed) and it looked old and dirty. This was obviously only a temporary hideout. Suddenly one of the genin's yelled "I think I found them!" just as they heard the front door open. A short young man with a strange haircut stood in the opening. "Oioioi, looks like Ore-sama is finally caught.... Took you long enough." The man carefully looked at the shinobi’s and their attire one by one. "What.... just three little genin and one chuunin? Thats all those pigs send after ME? Who do they think they're dealing with?" The sand shinobi took a strategic stance The chuunin stood closest to Rainen. Two genin, both girls, both stood on one side of the chuunin, a bit behind him The last genin, a boy, stood at the back, directly behind the chuunin. The thief, named Rainen, observed their stance. Hmm, typical. The one in front is probably the taijutsu expert. The two at the rears could be support-types, but they are standing awfully close to the guy in the back, so he could be a medic. They seem to be very protective of him, so he will be the first to die.
The man briefly looked at the team, then looked at the girl on the right. "Guess, what, lucky girl? Ore-sama is going to let you live!" "What?", the girl replied. "Well someone has to live and run back to the village, to tell everyone the tale of the mighty Rainen-sama who killed off your team with greatest ease! Maybe then they will send some worthy opponents after me!" "Enough with your talking! Let’s begin!" The chuunin charged at Rainen, and the battle begun.

Name: Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique)

Description: Sasogoei will put a huge chunk of earth in its mouth and chew on it, forming small bullets. It can then spit the bullets at the enemy at a rapid, machinegun like rate. The bullets can easily pierce flesh.

Description: A very powerful ability. Sasogoei gathers chakra in its vocal chords and starts to produce an extremely high shriek lasting for 10 seconds. The shriek is high enough to break rock and glass, will cause extreme pain to any human hearing it and being exposed to it for 10 seconds will cause a person to go completely deaf for 3 posts. The only way to escape it is to somehow dampen the sound enough(simply covering your ears with your handswon't be enough). The person who summoned Sasogoei is adviced to bring along some kind of very powerful ear protection.
